We are a family owned dance school since 1954, currently with third generation part owners & teaching staff. We promote a positive and nurturing environment while encouraging students to thrive within and on stage. Students progress at their own pace without the stress of trying to "keep up" with other students. We encourage our students to compete within themselves while offering a space for them to reach towards their own personal goals in dance.

About Our Instructors

 

Our instructors are highly qualified with years of experience and expertise in many areas of dance. Each of our teachers brings a unique perspective, personality and skill set to the classroom environment. Students benefit from these differing approaches as they mirror the professional environment dancers will encounter throughout their dance resume experience.

 

Our staff strives to give each student the individual attention and instruction that they need to reach their potential, as well as an opportunity for advancement and an increase in self-confidence. We have frequent staff meetings where we discuss curriculum and teaching goals. Teachers monitor and discuss students’ progress across each of the disciplines to make sure that each student is performing to the best of their ability.

We are fortunate to have wonderful dance teachers at Maralee's Dance who make a concerted effort to be good role models for our dancers.
